Tech Vibes

Service 08

A site that cannot be found is a brochure sitting in a drawer.

We treat search as engineering: crawlable architecture, clean URLs, metadata, Core Web Vitals, and pages written for the query your buyer actually types.

Typical start

Audit in the first week

Build length

2–6 weeks, or bundled into a site build

Best for

New sites, rebuilds, and traffic recovery

The problem

Companies spend on ads and a new look, then wonder why Google still serves a competitor. The usual cause is technical: blocked pages, duplicate URLs, slow LCP, no sitemap, thin copy, or a rebuild that dropped the rankings they already had.

What you walk away with

The site can be crawled, indexed, and understood. Important URLs are protected. Performance is in a range search engines reward. You get a written map of what was fixed and what content still needs to exist.

Who this is for

  • Companies launching a new site that must rank from day one
  • Teams whose traffic dropped after a redesign
  • E-commerce and service businesses competing on search, not only ads
  • Product companies that need docs, comparisons, and landing pages to compound

What this service actually includes

01

Technical foundations

Indexation, robots, canonicals, sitemap, structured data, and a URL scheme that will still make sense in two years.

02

Performance that search can measure

Core Web Vitals, image and font strategy, and server response, built into the site. Not a PDF of recommendations nobody implements.

03

On-page & information architecture

Titles, headings, internal links, and page types mapped to real search intent: commercial, informational, local.

04

Migration without amnesia

If we rebuild or revamp, we keep the URLs that earn, 301 the rest, and verify Search Console after launch.

Typical company engagements

Launch a company site that Google can use

New Next.js site with a URL scheme, metadata, sitemap, and the service pages that should rank, not a homepage and a prayer.

Recover traffic after a rebuild

Old WordPress URLs mapped, 301s in place, Search Console clean, and the pages that used to rank put back into the architecture.

E-commerce collection and product templates

Indexable category pages, unique product metadata, and filters that do not create thousands of junk URLs.

How the work runs

  1. Step 01

    Audit the live surface

Crawl, Search Console (if you have it), competitors, and the pages that should be making money. You get a punch-list, not a 80-page theatre deck.

  2. Step 02

    Fix the engineering

Indexation, speed, metadata, and structure land in the codebase. SEO that cannot be shipped is not a service.

  3. Step 03

    Align the pages

We specify or write the pages that need to exist (service, product, location, comparison) and wire them into the IA.

  4. Step 04

    Measure after launch

Coverage, rankings for agreed queries, and a 30/90-day check. Search is slow; we do not pretend otherwise.

Deliverables

What a company can put in a statement of work.

  • Technical SEO implemented on the live site
  • URL map, redirects, sitemap, and robots rules
  • Metadata and structured data on key templates
  • Page brief or copy for priority landing pages
  • Search Console / analytics handover notes

What the company keeps

Ownership and handover are part of the professional standard.

  • A crawlable site with a URL and metadata system you own
  • Access and properties sitting in your Search Console, not ours
  • A written list of what was shipped vs what content still needs writing
  • Honesty when search is not the channel that will move the needle first

How a company starts

Send this and we can quote.

You do not need a 20-page RFP. A messy but honest brief is enough for a scoped proposal.

  1. 01

Live URL and whether you have Search Console / Analytics

  2. 02

The queries or pages that should be making money

  3. 03

What changed recently (rebuild, host, CMS, dropped traffic)

  4. 04

Markets: Nigeria only, West Africa, or international

  5. 05

Whether this is a standalone SEO job or part of a new site

What this is not

Saying no is how companies know we are not selling everything.

  • Guaranteed rankings or ‘first page in 7 days’
  • Link-buying, PBNs, or comment spam
  • Running your Google Ads account as a media buyer

Questions companies ask

Do you guarantee #1 on Google?+

No. Anyone who does is selling fiction. We guarantee the technical work is done correctly, the important URLs are indexable, and the content is aimed at real queries. Rankings follow over months, not overnight.

Is this separate from building the website?+

It can be. On a new Tech Vibes site, SEO foundations are part of delivery. This service is for companies that need a dedicated search engagement, or a site we did not originally build.

Do you do backlink schemes or ‘SEO packages’?+

No. We do not buy links, spin directories, or stuff keywords. That work gets sites penalised. We do engineering and content structure.

We are a local Nigerian business. Does SEO still apply?+

Yes, Google Business, local landing pages, and a fast mobile site often matter more than a national content farm. We will say if ads are the better first spend.

How do you price SEO?+

Against a written list of templates and queries, a site-wide ‘SEO retainer’ with no scope is how budgets disappear. You get a defined v1.
